Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 July 2026

This policy explains what information Les Tricklebank, trading as july10 ("july10", "Les the Finance Guy", "I", "me"), Credit Representative 557767, collects when you use the road map tools (home buyer and refinance), the strategy call booking, and the notify or email series lists on this site, why it's collected, how it's kept safe, and the rights you have over it. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By using these tools you consent to your information being handled as described here.

The short version: I only collect what I need to prepare your road map and have a useful conversation with you. I never sell your information. Some of the trusted tools I use to run the service are based overseas (including the United States), and I take reasonable steps to keep your information protected wherever it's handled.

What I collect

Depending on which tool you use, I may collect:

You choose what to share. The mobile number is optional, and you can leave any field blank, though that may make your road map less accurate.

Why I collect it

These are the only purposes I use it for. If you choose not to provide certain details, I may not be able to build an accurate road map or progress your enquiry. The figures in your road map are general estimates to help you plan. They are not a loan approval, a quote, or personal credit advice. Your actual borrowing capacity is confirmed with real lender assessments during our conversation.

The free email series and follow-ups

If you tick the opt-in box, I'll send you the free educational email series and the occasional relevant tip. I'll only ever send you marketing if you've asked for it, every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can opt out any time - I'll stop straight away.

How it's stored and who can see it

Your information is sent over an encrypted connection and handled by a small set of trusted providers that run the service on my behalf, each under their own privacy and security terms:

Only I can access your enquiry records. I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

Where your information is stored (overseas)

Some of these providers store or process information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. Where your information is handled overseas, I take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with Australian privacy law. By providing your information you consent to it being stored and processed overseas as described.

How I keep it safe

Information is encrypted in transit, the database is locked down so only my secure server processes can read it, access is limited to me, and I use reputable providers with their own security controls. No system is ever perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

A note on the estimates

The road map tool automatically works out estimates from the numbers you enter. These are general estimates to help you plan - not a loan approval, a quote, or a decision about your credit. Any actual lending decision is made by a lender, not by this tool.

How long I keep it

I keep your information for as long as needed to help you with your enquiry and to meet my record-keeping obligations as a finance professional. If you'd like your details removed, just ask and I'll delete them where I'm not legally required to keep them.

Your choices and rights

Just email me and I'll action it, usually within 30 days, free of charge.

If you have a complaint

If you're concerned about how your information has been handled, email me at les@july10.au and I'll look into it and respond. If you're not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

A note on shared devices

When you book a call, your details are passed into the booking page through your browser. If you're on a shared or public computer, clear your browser history afterwards so the next person can't see them.
